flashMapped is based in Adobe Flash. Despite a high market permeation, up to 90%, it is highly important to check the availability of Flash on the clients computer, so as to make flashMapped available to all users.

The Flash Plugin detection

A, so called, FlashDetection detects exactly which Flash version is currently installed - independent from Operating System and web-browser. In this way the application reacts to an older, or non-existent version of the program by supplying the appropriate download link.

In this way we can ensure that even this small percentage of users will be able to access flashMapped
